FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE ErtelAlsops Pharma-Pak® Filter Housings ErtelAlsop announces the availability of sanitary design filter housings for its lenticular depth filter cartridges. The lenticular design refers to the physical format resembling a double convex lens, a cartridge format invented by ErtelAlsop who refers to it as "Zeta-Pak®". This format has been widely copied by many depth filter manufacturers. The cells for each Zeta-Pak® element are assembled from a pair of ErtelAlsop Micro-Media® or Alpha-Media filter pads. A patented process using food grade polypropylene seals the outer edges of each pair. The sterilizable grade Zeta-Pak® is available in twelve standard removal ratings, applicable for Large Volume Parenterals, blood fractions, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and a host of other pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products. The stainless steel Pharma-Pak® filter housings are designed to easily break down into their component parts for ease of cleaning. There are no threads in the fluid contact path. These filter housings are available in 316 and 316L stainless steel and can hold up to 74 square feet of filter area. ErtelAlsop products include pharmaceutical depth filter media made to strict controls and included in a Drug Master File at the Center for Drug Evaluation and Research of the FDA. Precision die cut media are available for plate and frame and cylindrical filter presses and Zeta-Pak® lenticular filter cartridges. ErtelAlsop also manufactures sanitary design hardware for incorporation of these media. Relevant Links
